In addition, the gel is also used to heal wounds. It also has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties that are very useful in treating skin infections. Like any other products, drinking too much of aloe vera juice has its disadvantages. Since it is on a liquid form, drinking it is a bit difficult due to the taste. Although it is said to be non-toxic, drinking too much of aloe vera juice can result to nausea.

We also have to take on account that processed aloes that contain aloin, a yellow-brown colored compound, are used basically as laxative. This therefore can’t be taken on a daily basis. However processed aloe vera juice that has regulated aloin content can be used as a digestive healer.

A lot of people are now keeping this plant on a pot making it readily available especially as a use to treat burns and moisturize the hair. Internal use of this plant is still being strictly monitored. Despite the fact that there are numerous advantages of its use, it is still best to consult the experts before using treatments for medical conditions.
